2011 Annual Report Member Survey

The EICC Integrated Member Survey (IMS) will be sent to primary representatives during the week of April 16.  All EICC members are required to complete the survey.

The IMS is designed to collect up-to-date, publicly-reportable information from member companies about their progress toward meeting EICC objectives.  The aggregated survey results will be a key component of the 2011 EICC Annual Report.  The results will also be used for work group planning.  More information can be found in Section 5.12 of the Membership Compliance Program (ratified in 2010). Roundtable with makeITFair and Good Electronics: May 9-10

In 2009, EICC members participated in a roundtable discussion on supply chain issues by makeITfair and the GoodElectronics Network. The groups will host a follow-up session May 9-10 in Amsterdam.

The objective of the session is to find common ground between the electronics industry and civil society organizations on strategies to improve labor conditions in the global electronics supply chain.  Social and environmental responsibility (SER) policies will also be discussed, as well as practices and recent initiatives by the industry.

Participation is available to interested companies, including suppliers, civil society organizations, and EU policy makers.  Space is limited, so register by March 30.  Contact Pauline Overeem at GoodElectronics for a program, registration form, and additional information.  Contact Wendy Dittmer for information about participation by the EICC.
