Board Report
The Board took the following action this week:
- 2012 Budget: Announced final approval of the 2012 budget.
- Code Review: Received update on the EICC Code Review process. The voting process was extended five days to ensure participation by all Full Members.
- Membership Meeting: Reviewed a draft agenda for the Winter Membership Meeting.

Code Review Process: Vote by January 9
The deadline to vote on proposed changes to the EICC Code of Conduct has been extended to 5 PM (PST) on Jan. 9, 2012. The vote is extended only for Full Member companies that have not already voted. Contact Erin Hussey for a link to the ballot.
Full Members may initiate re-votes on specific proposals according to the following process:
1. 20% Requirement: Objections must be submitted in writing to Erin at ehussey@eicc.info, and must be supported by a minimum of 8 (20%) Full Members.
2. Limited Scope: Objections can only be accepted for specific proposals. Qualified objections will result in a new "yes/no" ballot to reconsider the specific proposal (i.e., no new proposals or modifications can be accepted.)
3. Adoption of Objections: A 2/3 majority is required to overturn a prior vote.
Updated Code Review Timeline:
- Jan. 9: Vote deadline (5 PM PST).
- Jan. 11: Results communicated to members.
- Jan. 27: Deadline to submit objections.
- Feb. 2: Qualified objections distributed to members.
- Feb. 6: Ballots for re-votes distributed (if necessary).
- Feb. 13: Deadline to submit re-vote ballots.
- Feb. 15: Re-vote results communicated to members.

EICC Winter Meeting Update
All EICC members should register ASAP for the Winter Membership Meeting in Seoul, South Korea on February 13-15, 2012. Hotels will fill quickly due to other large events in Seoul at the same time.
- Registration: Register here.
- Agenda: A draft agenda is available here.
- Presentations: All presentations must be submitted to Grant Feichtinger by 5 PM EST on Monday, Feb. 7.
- Work Groups: Work groups that will meet on Feb. 13 must contact Grant to secure meeting space.

 2012 Budget Ratified
The EICC 2012 budget was ratified on Dec. 28. The vote by Full Members was 18-0.
The Finance Committee expressed appreciation to work groups and the Board for help to complete the first budget under the new process. The committee will now monitor contract implementation and follow-up items with work groups. Contact Carrie Hoffman for more information.

Action Items:
- EICC companies must assign a company administrator for EICC-ON. Register your company administrator here.

- Recordings of training sessions are available in SharePoint. The recordings and an FAQ document will be available soon in EICC-ON in the "Training" tab. An EICC-ON overview is already available in the training catolog.
