conflictConflict Minerals Reporting Template

The Extractives Work Group has launched the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template tool, developed to facilitate disclosure and communication of information regarding smelters that provide material to company supply chains.  The template can assist companies in their due diligence processes by tracking information in their supply chains that is related to conflict minerals.

The template includes questions on company conflict-free policies, engagement with direct suppliers, and a list of smelters companies used in their supply chain.  The template provides written instructions and recorded training on use of the tool, and is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.

Additionally, a "dashboard" is available for aggregating multiple templates from suppliers.  The dashboard enables data analysis and supports the preparation of consolidated information from multiple suppliers.  The dashboard is available in English.

EICC members, along with non-member participants of the Extractives Work Group, can access the due diligence reporting tools and training materials here.
