Nominations for the following elected positions must be submitted by 5 PM EST on Feb. 25:

  • Board Director for Regional Programs--Oversight for the Asia Program (3-year term).
  • Finance Committee--Oversight of the EICC financial planning process (1-year term).

MexicoEICC-GeSI Labor & Ethics Lead Auditor Course in Mexico City 

 

A five-day EICC-GeSI Lead Auditor course will be offered March 14-18 in Mexico City. A minimum of 13 registrants is required for the course to proceed. 

The workshop is highly interactive and will cover social systems auditing, investigative skills, management systems, validation and reporting, and the EICC-GeSI Audit. Participants will learn the competencies necessary to perform EICC-GeSI Labor & Ethics VAP audits. Registration is processed through the Verité website.

materialsCarbon Reporting Internal Data Collection Materials Needed 

 

The Environmental Sustainability Work Group is developing supplier training materials to help companies collect internal data for carbon reporting. If your company has information that can be shared about internal data collection for carbon reporting, such as where to look or which functional groups to contact, please send a copy to Ed Hou of Nvidia.

meetingHealthHealth & Safety Training Pilot

 

The Learning & Capability Building Work Group held the first of two training pilots in November for the Health & Safety Training Course. The second pilot will be hosted by IBM in Guadalajara on March 24. An invitation letter that you can use to send to your suppliers can be found here.

The invitation can be sent with your company's logo. All members are encouraged to invite their suppliers to the pilot training, and to submit feedback after the session. Availability is limited to 100 attendees. Companies will have access to the materials to deploy to suppliers after feedback is obtained. Contact Grant Feichtinger for more information.

senjuEnablon Tool Naming Contest

The EICC 2.0 Workgroup is sponsoring a contest to name the new Enablon tool. The new name for the tool will be announced in the Bulletin and on the EICC website.  The winning individual and his or her company will be recognized in the announcement.

Suggested names can be submitted here. Submissions must be received by 5 PM EST on Friday, February 25.
