Elected Positions Available
EICC members are needed to fill the following elected positions:
- Board Director for Regional Programs--elected member will oversee the Asia Program (3-year term).
- Finance Committee--two elected members will help oversee the EICC financial planning process (1-year term).

Winter Membership Meeting: Report
The EICC Winter Membership Meeting was held in San Diego, CA Jan. 19-20. The meeting was attended by 69 company representatives. Notes and presentation slides from the meeting are available here.

Membership Meeting Hosts Needed
The next EICC membership meeting has been scheduled for July 25-28, 2011, in Asia. A host for this meeting has not yet been identified. Please contact Carrie Hoffman if your company is interested. Please also contact Carrie if your company does not have facilities in Asia but would be interested in hosting a future meeting. Early identification of a meeting host will provide members more time to plan for travel. |

Special Presentation on Water
On February 18th, 2011, the Environmental Sustainability Working Group will have a special presentation on water during their working group meeting. Linda Hwang, Manager, Research and Innovation at BSR will be presenting on water issues in the ICT industry and present general information on metrics to be considered by the working group. Membership Compliance Program Deadline - February 11
Data collection for the EICC Membership Compliance Program began in October. Members are required to provide "first-pass" information on activities in their companies and major suppliers by December 31. The data will provide baselines for the program in 2011. Auditor Certification Classes: China, Mexico, and Singapore
The next EICC Labor & Ethics Lead Auditor Certification training class will be held in Singapore on Feb. 21-27. The session will be conducted in English. Please register by February 17.

- Mexico City: March 14-18 (Register by March 1)
- Shenzhen: March 28-April 1 (Register by March 14)
Space is still available for EICC member company auditors who want to become IRCA-certified EICC auditors, or to be trained to conduct audits on their own facilities or supplier facilities. The cost is US $1,880. Contact Verité to register. |
Carbon Reporting System Agreements
The updated "Terms and Conditions for the 2011 Carbon Reporting System" is available here. All participating members should review the document with their internal legal teams and return a signed copy to jnishinaga@bsr.org by February 15. E-TASC Facility Information
An FAQ that addresses common questions about the new Enablon system has been sent to primary contacts at member companies and is also available here. All companies are encouraged to review the SAQ before subscriptions to E-TASC expire. In particular, companies are encouraged to read the section about migrating data from E-TASC.
