ElectionEICC Board Election

EICC will hold an election to fill four Board positions that will expire at the end of 2010. EICC members who are interested in serving on the Board are encouraged to submit a nomination. The Board positions include:

  • Code Management (Membership Compliance Program and Code Revisions)
  • External Relations (External Communications and Stakeholder Relations)
  • Outreach (Member Communications, Membership, and Association Networking)
  • Oversight (Governance, GeSI Alliance, and Finance)

EHSEmployee Health & Welfare Initiative: Shenzhen Meeting

The Employee Health & Welfare Task Force will complete a root cause analysis in October to prioritize the factors that affect employee welfare in China. A one-day meeting to complete the process will be held in Shenzhen during the week of Oct. 18. All EICC members with operations in China are encouraged to participate. Contact Brad Cameron for more information or to register for the meeting.

LCBE-Learning Module Feedback Requested

The Learning & Capability Building Group would like feedback from EICC members on the E-Learning Modules that were launched in 2009.

EICC members are encouraged to comment on the technical functionality of the modules, as well as on the training content. Suggestions for improvements are also encouraged. All personal/company information will remain confidential.

The modules are available here. Comments should be sent to Jessica Davis Pluess by October 15.
