ProspectsBoard of Director Changes

The EICC Board of Directors voted this week to accept an offer by HP to fill the open Board position. The Board previously approached a number of members about the position after an open membership request for volunteers yielded no candidates. As a result, HP agreed to serve on the Board and named Zoe McMahon as its representative. Zoe is Global Program Manager for Supply Chain Social and Environmental Responsibility at HP.

Zoe will serve as the Director for Learning & Capability Building (L&CB). This will include oversight for all L&CB activities, including development of the Location Recognition Program. Zoe will also act as the EICC liaison to the Global Social Compliance Programme (GSCP), of which HP is a participant. Welcome aboard Zoe!

To accommodate this development, EICC Board member Steve Viera (Intel) has assumed the position of Director for Measurement, which includes oversight of the workgroups that manage the Risk Assessment tool, Self-Assessment Questionnaire, Validated Audit Process, Corrective Action Plan development, and E-TASC.

Thanks to HP and Intel for making these changes possible, and for helping EICC achieve its 2010 objectives.
