Board Report

The Board took the following actions this week:

• 2010 Budget: Continued review of work group funding requests, as well as projected revenues and expenses.
• Membership Program: Reviewed the membership recruitment plan and received an update on the membership compliance plan. The plans will be presented at the membership meeting on January 27.
• Asia Program: Received an update on meetings held Jan. 6 and 8 by the Asia Program Steering Committee and the Outreach and Certification committees. A program update will be provided to all members at the membership meeting.

Membership Meeting Information

The next EICC membership meeting will be held Jan. 26-28 in Santa Clara, CA. To date, members from 25 companies have registered.  Work group leaders should contact Grant Feichtinger to schedule meeting times.

Hotel Information: The meeting will be held at the Biltmore Hotel & Suites (2151 Laurelwood Road, Santa Clara, CA 95054). Click here or call 1-800-255-9925 to reserve a room. Be sure to indicate that you will attend the EICC meeting to obtain the group rate of $109/night.

Membership Requirements: Please Review!

All EICC members are asked to review the following important information:

• Membership Dues: Members must pay their 2010 dues by February 1. Only 25% of EICC members have paid so far. Primary representatives from all other member companies should review the status of their payments and let Carrie Hoffman know when payment may be expected. All dues must be collected before final 2010 budget allocations can be made.
• Member Survey: Primary contacts received a survey last week that they must complete by Friday, January 22. The survey is designed to collect information for the Annual Report. It will also be used to measure progress by members in adopting the association's tools. EICC members are required to complete the survey. Contact Betsy Fargo if you have questions or need assistance.
• Member Recruitment: EICC members are encouraged to help identify other companies that should be invited to join the association. Use the form here to identify companies you want AMS to contact. Members should also review the prospect list here to help AMS identify contacts in the companies identified so far.
