The following reports are available for review:
  • GoodElectronics and the Dutch CSR Platform (MVO Platform) released Reset: Corporate social responsibility in the global electronics supply chain.  The report and a summary are available here. GoodElectronics seeks feedback on "Basic Operational Principles" and the following chapters: "Organising and collective bargaining," "Security of employment-precarious work," "Working hours," and "Wage."  Submit comments to Wendy Dittmer.

  • Enough and Center for America Progress released From Mine to Mobile Phone: The Conflict Minerals Supply Chain.  The report is available here.

  • Greenpeace published Poisoning the Pearl, a report on water contamination in the Pearl River Delta. A copy is available here. 
TanTatalum Supply Workshop

EICC and GeSI will host the second Tantalum Supply Workshop on Nov. 17 in Redmond, WA.  The meeting agenda is available here.  Directions to the meeting site and other information will be sent directly to registrants.  More than 50 representatives of EICC-GeSI companies and suppliers will attend.  Contact Brad Cameron if you have not registered but want to attend.
