Board Actions This Week

• E-TASC: Received an update on the vendor selection process for E-TASC 2.0. The E-TASC management group is reviewing 11 responses from vendors to the association's request for information (RFI). The group's goal is to present a recommendation next week for action by the Board. Meanwhile, the group will begin testing E-TASC 1.5, which is scheduled for distribution in October.
• Meeting Update: The Board reviewed planning efforts for the Sep. 15-16 membership meeting. AMS is working with Steve Viera (Intel) to organize meeting logistics at Intel.
• New EICC Member: The Board approved an application submitted by ON Semiconductor of Phoenix, AZ. The company will be represented in EICC by Teresa McCarley, Quality Systems Director.

Carbon Reporting: Supplier Deadline Extended

Based on requests from EICC members, the deadline for suppliers to complete the reporting process in the Carbon Reporting System has been extended to October 15, 2009. This provides six additional weeks to complete the reporting of emissions data.

EICC will also provide two additional training sessions via conference call and WebEx:

• September 10 at 5pm PT/8am China
• September 14 at 8am PT/11am ET/4pm GST

Membership Meeting: Important Information

• Work Group Meetings: Sep. 15: All EICC members who plan to attend a work group meeting must arrive at the Intel CH7 main lobby 15 minutes before the meeting. Work Group meeting times are as follows:
  Board Meeting: 9 AM, Room CH7-308
  VAP: 9 AM - 12 Noon, CH7-210
  Working Hours: 12- - 6 PM, CH7-213
  E-TASC: 1-3 PM, CH7-210
  Communications/Stakeholders: 3-5 PM, CH7-10
    
• E-Mail Access: Intel will provide email access for all meeting participants during the meeting. AMS will provide access information to meeting attendees when they arrive.
