Board Actions This Week

• E-TASC 2.0: The E-TASC Development Work Group presented a proposed plan for decision making on development of E-TASC 2.0.  Board members offered input and the work group will consider suggested adjustments to the plan.
• New Board Member: Welcomed Pat Brubeck of Logitech as a temporary replacement on the Board for Bernadette Barber.  Bernie will take a leave of absence for two months, but will remain active in EICC.
• Meeting Time Change: Changed the time for weekly Board calls to Tuesdays at 10 AM EST.  The change accommodates new Board members who are located in Asia (Richard Wong, Flextronics) and Europe (Pat Brubeck, Logitech, and Kate Cacciatore-formerly Kate Rigge, STMicroelectronics).

Join the Asia Work Group
 
EICC established a new Board position to guide the association's activities in Asia.  The next step will be to form an Asia Work Group to help with planning.  A work group meeting will be scheduled in Shenzhen in August.  Every EICC member company with operations in Asia is encouraged to provide a representative to participate.  Please contact EICC Board Director for Asia Programs, Richard Wong, for more information or to find out how your company can get involved.

New SharePoint Site: Feedback Opportunity
 
EICC is ready to launch the new SharePoint site.  Before the launch, every Work Group is invited to offer input.   EICC staff will provide a brief overview of the site for all interested work groups.  Staff will also explain the new layout and demonstrate some of its functions.  Please contact Grant Feichtinger if you would like to schedule an overview for your work group.

Monday Deadline for Feedback on Supplier Manager Training Module
 
Member feedback for the Supplier Manager Training Module is due by Monday, June 29.  Please provide feedback to Shveta Kalia (training vendor). The e-Learning Work Group and Learning & Capability Building Work Group will discuss the feedback and an action plan on a work group call the week of July 6.
