May 6 Quarterly Membership Meeting
Philips will host the regional meeting at its office, which is located at Piet Heinkade 55, 1019 GM Amsterdam. EICC members who plan to attend will need to make their own hotel arrangements. Click here for the agenda and additional logistical information.

Working Hours Awareness
The Working Hours Task Force is conducting a confidential survey of commodity managers. The survey will determine levels of awareness about socially responsible practices related to work hours, and about the potential impact this has on work hours policies by suppliers. Participation in the survey is voluntary, but we hope to achieve a high participation rate to ensure statistically valid data. Take the survey Full Text

Commodity Manager eLearning Release
The Learning & Capability Building Work Group is planning to release the Commodity Manager eLearning training module. The module will be free for EICC members, and will be accessible from a link on the EICC webpage, or as a download from the EICC SharePoint. Instructions will be provided to interested members who want to download and run the training module on their internal learning management systems (LMS). Please identify one person, preferably from your training department, who will receive the training instructions for your company. Send the name of your contact to Grant Feichtinger by Friday, April 24.

Supplier Management Training Examples Needed
The L&CB Work Group is also finalizing the Supplier Management eLearning training. Additional examples are needed to explain how management systems can help improve social responsibility and capability by suppliers. If you have information to share please forward it to Hong Ling.

The first session will be held April 28th at 10:00AM EDT, and the second will be held April 30th at 9:00PM EDT. More information about these webinars will be included in the next Bulletin. |
