Regular size CSA items: Haas avocado, Valencia oranges, seedless grapes, Bosc pears, peaches, summer squash or cucumbers or beans or tomatoes,  scallions or leeks, basil, chives, bell peppers, red onions, Yukon gold potatoes, mushrooms, lettuce , salad, sprouts, carrots, and bouquet of flowers.

Dear Friends,

Had enough of the heat and humidity?  Even the chickens are looking wilted although I'm not complaining as  San Diego is a wonderful place to live.  And tomorrow is September 11th.  A day to always remember.  I'll never forget watching that second plane or the collapse or the people on the street.  We'll be flying our American flag again in respect and vigilance of our great country.  Heat?  I'll find some shade under our trees and be grateful for what we have. 

A reminder that this Saturday is the last of the cheese making classes for the season.  Mama's goat milk is on the decline as the babies are growing up and we won't have a good supply until next year.  So if you'd like to spend a couple of pleasant and informative hours at the farm, please register on the Green Store and we'll see you there.
