Dear Friends,
I am thrilled to hear we have a good chance of receiving rain two times this week. It's going to make all the trees and flowers and crops be so beautiful. This Saturday we are doing a little farmer's market and romp for 20 guests and their Corgi owners. Then the next Saturday, the 21st, we are offering a class on cheese making. Virginia Masters will be demonstrating how to make your own various types including sharing a strain of a Stilton from Europe. More on this in a separate email. Class will be limited to 25.
Large asparagus surprisingly, is often he best flavor and texture. Can't have April without it. With the cooler weather coming this week it's perfect for having soups and salads and good bread. Let's enjoy it while it's here.
