Man..is fighting a lone fight against vast indifference. A gardener learns that. His flowers are fighting the same sort of lone fight, and perhaps that is why he love them and pities the. - Warwick Deeping

Dear Friends,
Over sixty and still excited about chicks! How's that for a headline? Seriously, it's true. The Rhode Island red baby chickens that came in the mail last Friday are happily nestled into their newly remodeled house and it's right outside my kitchen door so when going in or out, or cooking I'm compelled to stop what I'm doing and sit and watch. So entertaining and sweet. Our class this Saturday at 9:30 will give attendees a chance to observe and hold and you can pick your own bouquet of sweet peas to take home. We'll also have a raffle for vegetables and some of other items from our Green Store. To make reservations, click here Groups and Tours. With the rain we just had, it should be a glorious day at the farm.
We also discovered where the missing duck is! She successfully camouflaged herself under some bushes and is sitting on at least 9 eggs. So the first week-end in April, we'll have ducklings again! There really is sweetness and innocense left in this world.
The spring fennel for this week might stump some of you (it usually does) so here is an easy recipe to try: Spring fennel.
We also do invite you to join our Seabreeze Organic Farm Meetup for notices of upcoming events and workshops.
Please keep your notes and comments coming. I read them all.
Enjoy in good health.
