Gardening can become a kind of disease. It infect you; you cannot escape it. When you go visiting, your eyes rove about the garden; you interrupt the serious cocktail drinking because of an irresistible impulse to get up and pull a weed. - Lewis Grant

Dear Friends,
Several of you dropped me a note about the video of the goat last week and I realized I hadn't sent along a picture of our new addition, Beatrice. We got her to be a companion to our goat Elsa, after our horse Blaise went to his new home. This photo is after she got her first shearing and would you know it the next day we had a cold spell with rain. So off to the pet store where we bought her this sweater to wear. Her wool has grown back and she loves fruit and going on walks with us! There's no need for commercial entertainment with all the animals we take of!
Almost every day I read articles on vegetables and fruits and how important they are for a myriad of reasons including lowering heart disease and risk of strokes. I admit that I get a little impatient with people that want to cancel because they're 'throwing away the stuff' I send. Oh my goodness..it's not stuff. It's life affirming pulsing vitamins and minerals....
We've a cool weather pattern moving through today and it's a good day for soups. Here are 33 yummy sounding recipes to motivate you:
