Regular size CSA items:  Avocados,  Navel oranges, Satsuma tangerines, lemon, Nordic spinach, Yukon Gold potatoes, mini-peppers,  heirloom tomatoes,  lettuce, sprouts, salad,  radishes or turnips, Romanesco broccoli or kohlrabi, arugula or baby celery, cress or salad burnet, escarole, onions, and bouquet of flowers.  Substitutions may occur. 

Dear Friends, 

Okay, so last week the complaint was how dry every thing is from lack of rain and now today it's about being wet, cold and how are we going to get everything done and guilt for those still outside with freezing hands and feet harvesting and washing produce!  Farmers can indeed be a grumpy lot however, when the sun shines tomorrow and the soil is damp, it'll be dancing with the goats again and marveling at all around us. 

This last week we had another lovely group of exceptional students from Pacific Ridge High School.  We toured the farm, walked the preserve (thank you Nanz) and made lunch with Danielle (a shareholder) that invented the Nuttzo - Pantry Essentials miracle food.  I have half a sandwich in the morning with berry bread and banana and am good to go for several hours.  If you have referrals for schools or groups to take a tour or workshop, we really appreciate it.  We have a new tab on the Green Store for Groups and Tours and have two lined up for February.  Classes are limited to 20 so please sign-up early if you are coming.
