Working in the garden..gives me a profound feeling of inner peace.  Nothing here is in a hurry. There is no rush toward accomplishment, no blowing of trumpets.  Here is the great mystery of life and growth.  Everything is changing, growing, aiming as  something, but silently, unboastfully, taking its time.  - Ruth StoutOil of Paicine Olive Oil

Dear Friends,

Ruth Stout was a 'famous' gardener for her no till approach (and gardening in the nude) to growing food and this quote reminds me of our winter months here in San Diego where our yards and gardens look dormant and unresponsive.  However, I've learned not to be fooled or too complacent as it won't be but for a few short weeks and everything comes pulsing back.

Happy 2012 to all.

Enjoy in good health.
