Dear Friends,

Now I'm sure there isn't anyone that has over indulged over the past few days and you're determined to get through next week-end as well without guilt of over consuming or a need to go for a few extra walks.  Well, just in case a few of us have slipped through our veil of determination, it's never too late for re-newed vows of discipline.  Thank heavens...so let's start off this week with yet another confirmation of the 'diet' that we've been promoting for years and is as timeless as ever..the tried but true Mediterranean diet.  Basically, fruits and vegetables, nuts, fish, lean meats if so inclined and olive oil.  We've been sending samples of the California family farm grown Paicines oil several times as samples, with no cost to your deliveries and a couple of you have placed orders and given positives reviews.  If you haven't tried yet I encourage you to order.  We're supposed to have up to 1/4 cup of good fresh olive oil per day for optimal amount and this rich buttery flavor is among the very best we've sampled over the years.

Here's a simple recipe: Swiss chard and olive oil

May you all enjoy this winter season.  In other words, Happy Holidays to all..

Enjoy in good health.
