April Executive Summary
DEVOTION Anxiety or Godly Contentment? (Php 4:6-7) One of the best descriptors of the modern American psyche is "anxious." Yet Paul tells us not to be anxious about anything. As Christian business leaders, we should be role models who demonstrate how thanksgiving and godly contentment overcome anxiety. Working 'on' my BUSINESS Burnout: What is it? Do I have it? Frustration comes with the territory in our leadership calling. But when physical fatigue and long-term frustration graduate into a sense of hopelessness and fatigue of the spirit, we begin to experience "burnout." This self-assessment segment looks at our "burnout quotient" and sets the stage for understanding and restoring our hope and motivation. Working 'on' my MINISTRY in God's Business A Christ-Centered Antidote to Burnout Burnout results from being out of God's will. The antidote to burnout is very straightforward and clear. Whether you're struggling or doing fine, this segment helps by defining four steps along the path toward a heightened level of appreciation and excitement regarding our identity, calling, blessings, and eternal purpose.
