Dear Friends,
It's a special pleasure to send you greetings at this time of year to celebrate the birth of our Savior! As we come to an end of 2010, I look back at the many new members who have had the opportunity to be part of the C12 Group's enriching experience. We give thanks for our new members and the stories of their lives being changed through membership in C12.
Eight 'Business as Ministry' Basics We each have a destiny in the heart of God (see Eph 2:10). As we close 2010 and look toward 2011, it's good to review the foundational elements of our practice and process as Christian leaders and stewards to evaluate what, if any, changes we might make for the New Year to nurture that destiny. In the important area of Christian ministry, in and through our businesses, which consume so much of our time and energy, C12 has found that there are eight basic practices and perspectives and three leadership commonalities that combine to encourage best-practice ministry results. We look forward to being with you in this month's offering and believe you will find it timely and informative. Also, take note of some of the exciting events planned in 2011 listed below.
Feel free to contact Bob Sleet or myself if you would like to explore what C12 has to offer you and your business. Please let me know if you are interested in learning more about our comprehensive assessment process for your business and operations or how else we can be of service to you. We are looking forward to another blessed year and wish you and your family a joyous Christmas. Take Care, Grace. |
| December CEO Roundtable Topics | |
December roundtable topics will explore areas of superior customer service, discuss ways your business can stay sharp and innovative, and we will take a Christ-centered retrospective look at the results of our past year's activities, focusing on the eternal perspective. As always, we take time for an opening devotional, focused prayer related to our businesses and families, open table discussion, progress review and new to-do items. Click here to view a brief video synopsis of what to expect this month.
December Executive Summary As we look forward to our meeting in December, the following is an executive summary of what we will cover in our various segments throughout the day:
DEVOTION Oaks of Righteousness (Is 60:1-2, 61:1,3b)
Isaiah reminds us that we're to "proclaim freedom for the captives" and be "Oaks of Righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor." We'll explore how we can reflect God's light through the marketplace and, as stewards of what God has entrusted to us, how we can provide opportunities for our likeminded employees to do the same.
Working 'on' my BUSINESS Innovation: the Path to Progress
Since market conditions and customer needs are always changing, only those companies that continually renew themselves through innovation and business model improvements will find long-term success. In spite of this, less than one third of all companies have an approach in place to generate and evaluate innovative ideas. Those that do, while also staying focused on operating performance, become the best-performing and most durable companies.
Working 'on' my MINISTRY in God's Business A Yearly Audit
This segment is our traditional year-end opportunity to 'look in the mirror' and evaluate our personal progress toward living and leading with the eternal perspective in mind. Challenge yourself to objectively analyze the way you are setting priorities and making choices in the key areas of your life. |
