Festival to continue with changes |
|
The City recently received a letter from the Sumner Arts Festival committee that they no longer will be running a festival in Sumner. We are very thankful to the many Arts Festival volunteers for the countless hours they gave to this community over the past few years.
Looking ahead, still mark your calendar for a festival on August 3-4 this year. Discussions are underway involving local community groups, including the Sumner Arts Commission, the Puyallup-Sumner Chamber of Commerce, the Sumner Downtown Association, City of Sumner and Sumner Rotary on what the new festival will look like. Watch for details soon, and we know it will continue to be a great time! |
