Manhattan Empty Bowls Community Service Event: Excellent opportunity for houses to get involved with an on campus organization. The K-State Women's Center is holding an event where guests eat a simple meal of soup and bread using handcrafted bowls. Guests are told to keep the bowls as a reminder of those around the country/world who have empty bowls on a daily basis in exchange for a donation. This service event has gained thousands of dollars that support all of the empty bowls in the world, so it is an excellent chance for your chapter to serve the community.
