Important Dates & Announcements

 

Next Panhellenic Meeting: January 31, 2011 at 7pm at Alpha Xi Delta.

 

Spring Assessment Form: Forms are due to the Greek Affairs Office (Union 214) January 31, 2011 by 5pm. Presidents this form will be used when you meet with your Advisor for your one on one meeting. Email or call Kim to set up your meeting.

 

Anti-Hazing Form: Signed forms are due back to Greek Affairs Office by January 31, 2011 at 5pm.

 

Roster Updates on ICS: Updates are due in ICS TODAY for Spring Billing. Remember to change "associates" to "members" if appropriate.


 

*If any chapter wishes to update the picture of their house on the Greek Affairs website, please email a high resolution, preferably spring/summer photo to greek1@ksu.edu. If you would like to view your current house's picture, click here!

Spring Sorority Open House this Sunday!


 

Key Reminders:

-Open House will take place from 6-9pm

-It is expected your chapter remains open for visitors the entire scheduled time

-PNMs will be transporting themselves between each chapter house

-If your chapter is participating in COB, please expect a PHC officer at your house to manage registration of PNMs visiting your chapter  

-Please remember all the ethical obligations your chapter has during recruitment

-Financial and time obligations should be discussed with each participant

Greek Leads


 

Greek Leads will be taking place on February 5th from 10am to noon at All Faiths Chapel. Breakfast will be provided at 9:30am so make sure to come hungry! Each chapter has been asked to bring 10 members to come listen to the keynote speaker followed by 8 breakout sessions. The keynote speaker will be Jeff Morris, VP of Marketing and Communications. This will be a great opportunity for officers in your chapter to meet with IFC/PHC officers in similar leadership positions during the breakout session.

Opportunities 

 

Enhanced University Experience

-Students are needed to serve as instructors for the Enhanced University Experience program during the 2011 fall semester. This would be a great opportunity for any greek student who excels in social science, science, and mathematics courses. Application materials will be distributed and further explanations provided at information meetings scheduled in 003 Holton at the following times:
 

Tuesday,           Feb. 1,              12- 12:30 p.m.

Wednesday,      Feb. 2,              3;30 - 4  p.m.

Thursday,          Feb. 3,              11- 11:30  a.m.

Thursday           Feb. 3,              4 - 4:30 p.m.

Bo burnham and Rob Riggles will be performing on Monday, February 7 at 7:30 p.m. in McCain Auditorium. Tickets for students are $14-23 can be purchased from 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at the McCain Box Office and 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday-Friday at the K-State Student Union Little Theatre Box Office.

Have a brilliant business idea? The Next Big Thing is an entrepreneurial competition that awards a total of $20,000 to winning students to start their own businesses. This is open to undergraduate and graduate students or teams from all majors and could be your chance to be the Next Big Thing.
