Delta Delta Delta's 'Walking Taco' Tailgate
Delta Delta Delta sorority and Chili's Bar & Grill are pleased to announce the third annual Walking Taco Tailgate. As national partners of St. Jude Children's research Hospital, Tri Delta and Chili's have come together to spread awareness and support of this wonderful institute. The event will be held on Saturday, November 6th before the Kansas State vs. Texas football game at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Cat Town Center on the west side of the Stadium. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital located in Memphis, TN, is the world's only pediatric cancer research center that is free of charge to all patients, regardless of a patient's race, religion, or ability to pay for treatment. St. Jude operates solely on donations with an operating cost of 1.5 million dollars per day, which is why we need your help! Please come out and support our cause by either stopping by the tailgate in Cat town with a $5 donation to receive unlimited walking tacos, or buying a ticket prior to the event from any Delta Delta Delta member.

Opportunities
Volunteer with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)! The group is planning Blue Ribbbon Week at the Geary County Court House in Junction City, and they need a team that will set up, light and maintain luminaries on the Court House steps during an evening program. Blue Ribbon Week's purpose is to raise awareness of Child Abuse and Neglect in this community. CASA volunteers are everyday citizens that Judges appoint to advocate for the safety and well-being of children who have been removed from their homes due to parental abuse and neglect. They stand up for these children and change their lives. If you are interested in volunteering in April and have about 10-20 people that could help, please contact Donia Schmiege by calling (785) 761-4841 or send her an e-mail
at casa@8thjd.com. Interested in learning about another culture? Need a friend? Apply to become an International Buddy! This is an excellent opportunity to learn from an international student and teach them what you know and love about K-State!
The Delta Chi Fraternity has a number of wood and metal bunkbed frames available for sale in Manhattan. We have another non-Greek organization that has expressed an interest, however, we would prefer these frames stay within the Greek community at K-State. If your organization would like more information please call Aaron Otto at (571) 235-2183.
Message from Kelly Law, Director of Membership and Marketing for the Alumni Association:
The K-State Alumni Association is here to serve you! If your house is looking for an outside speaker, we'd love to visit your chapter. We have great information to share on what the Association has to offer current students - from our Student Alumni Association, Wildcats Forever, to internship and leadership opportunities, as well as scholarships, new locations to study and other great events, as well as inform your seniors on how they can stay connected to K-State once they graduate! For more information, contact Kelly at klaw@k-state.com or 785-532-5067.

GAMMA Greeks Advocating the Mature Management of Alcohol
Are you interested in forming a peer education group that works as a team to identify high-risk student behavior and then creatively develops ways to educate Greek members?
GAMMA is a leadership program specifically for fraternity and sorority members who agree to be advocates to their chapter members. GAMMA members can lead the way for learning more about health and safety issues, and reduce some of the high-risk behaviors that can cause harm to individuals or to the chapter.
