Opportunities

Come to the Dining Etiquette Workshop on November 4th at 5:30pm in the Derby Dining Center Gold Room. Click here for more information.

Volunteer with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)! The group is planning Blue Ribbbon Week at the Geary County Court House in Junction City, and they need a team that will set up, light and maintain luminaries on the Court House steps during an evening program. Blue Ribbon Week's purpose is to raise awareness of Child Abuse and Neglect in this community. CASA volunteers are everyday citizens that Judges appoint to advocate for the safety and well-being of children who have been removed from their homes due to parental abuse and neglect. They stand up for these children and change their lives.
If you are interested in volunteering in April and have about 10-20 people that could help, please contact Donia Schmiege by calling (785) 761-4841 or send her an e-mail
at [email protected].
