Interested in learning a foreign language? The
Basic Language Training Program is a brief non-credit language class
that will run from Sept. 20th to Oct. 29th at the International Student Center. All courses are taught by native speakers and will meet twice a week for 1 hour. The cost is $25 for K-State students. Contact Karl Anderson at keanders@ksu.edu with further questions.
Do you love bagels? The Einstein Brothers grand opening at Hale Library will be on
Monday, Sept. 13th. The first 100 customers in line get free bagels for a year!
The Manhattan Cross Country Club will be hosting the Body First School Fitness Challenge on Saturday, Oct. 2, with more than 600
local youth expected to participate! In past years, we have had several
K-State fraternity and sorority members who have served as volunteers. If you are interested in helping out with this event or if you would like more information, please contact Pat Melgares at melgares@ksu.edu.

Alpha Chi Omega: This summer was the 125th AXΩ National Convention where our chapter won
the National Financial Management Award, the National Chapter
Management Award, the National P.A.C.E. (Promoting Alpha Chi Every Day)
Award and was also a finalist for the Risk Management and Fraternity

Delta Delta Delta: This week at Tri Delta we are having a Chapter Retreat to discuss our chapters goals for the semester. One of our main focuses is academics. We have implemented new helpful academic programs and incentives that we think will really benefit and encourage our members to strive for academic success. Questions? Kappa Alpha Theta: We are currently working on updating our website and Laura Anderson has done an excellent job so far! Wednesday chapter was dollar dress down, which gave us the opportunity to take a break from dressing up and wear jeans instead. Kappa Kappa Gamma: We are so excited to have new pledges! In the past couple weeks we have had formal pledging and participated in Lambda Chi Alpha's Watermelon Bust philanthropy. Sigma Kappa: We are so excited for the upcoming weekend! Not only will we be cheering on the Cats to another victory, but we will also be attending a sisterhood retreat. We will be back at Tuttle Creek on Sunday for UltraViolet MudBowl, our mud volleyball tourniment to raise money for Alzhimer's Diease Research.
