Letter from the Director
Dear K-State Chapter Advisors, K-State Chapter Officers,
and National Office Staff: For those of you I don't know, please allow me to
introduce myself. My name is Gayle
Spencer and I am an Associate Dean of Student Life here at K-State. Effective May 24th, I began overseeing the
Greek Affairs Office. I have spent the
last few weeks getting to know our Greek Affairs staff better, and getting updated
on our progress as an office. I am
amazed by all the great things our Greek community does. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to again be working
with our K-State Greek Community. Having
served as a sorority chapter advisor the past thirteen years here at K-State, I
am very appreciative of all the hard work and accomplishments of our chapters and
their members, officers, advisors, and alumni/ae. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free
to contact me via email, [email protected], or
by phone. My office number is
785-532-6541; my cell phone number is 785-770-0093. I look forward to working with those I know; and meeting
and getting to work with those I haven't had the chance to yet.
Regards,
Gayle Spencer, Ph.D. Associate Dean of Student Life Director of Student Activities and Services Kansas State

Recruitment Progress Report:
Currently we are behind the pace set last year by approximately 15 signed new members. However, this is likely a result of chapters that have not processed their bids on ICS. Drew Goering and I are working with these chapters to get their bids processed on ICS so that we have an accurate picture of where community recruitment efforts are at.
