Greek Week Results!

All-Greek Photo
We had an awesome turn out at Old Stadium on Sunday. Congratulations to Alpha Chi Omega, Pi Kappa Alpha, and Delta Tau Delta for having the most members come out for the photo!

Greek Olympics
We had wonderful weather and an even better turn out for the Greek Olympics on Monday, thanks to all of those who participated and congratulations to the winners:
1st: Gamma Phi Beta, Delta Sigma Phi, Delta Lambda Phi, and Gamma Rho Lambda
2nd: Pi Beta Phi, Lambda Chi Alpha, and Phi Kappa Theta
3rd: Kappa Delta, Sigma Ni, Phi Gamma Delta, and Beta Sigma Psi

Greek Idol
It was amazing to see some of our Greek talent showcased on Wednesday night! It was difficult for the judges to decide on the winner with fourteen incredible performance, but congratulations to the top three performers:
1st: Jamie Schreiner and Hillary Wilson - Alpha Delta Pi; John Michael Yingling, David Zurita, and Kyle Cooper - Lambda Chi Alpha.
2nd: Sam Rigsby - Sigma Kappa
3rd: Mallory David - Kappa Kappa Gamma

 Chapter Announcements

 Alpha Chi Omega:
The Hope Blooms Fashion Show is this Sunday! If you have not yet bought a ticket they will be available for $7 at the door. The event begins at 1:00pm with a browsing fair of local businesses, the show will begin at 2:00pm, then the browsing fair will continue on at 3:00pm. There will be refreshments after the show as well as door prizes. For more information visit our event page.  All of the proceeds from the event will go directly to the Manhattan Crisis Center. If you can not attend, but would like to donate, donations can be sent to Megan Sorrick (1835 Todd Road, Manhattan, KS 66502).

We really enjoyed working with FIJI and Phi Delta Theta during Greek Week. ADPi's Jamie Schreiner and Hillary Wilson placed first in Greek Idol, well done ladies! This coming weekend is ADPi's semiformal.

Alpha Xi Delta
Alpha Xi Delta will be hosting its Senior Date Party tonight! This year's theme is Kentucky Derby. We are all really excited to show off our dance moves and our abnormally large hats!

Chi Omega
This week we had our Koolaid stand for the Make-A-Wish foundation at both Bosco Plaza and the Chi Omega house. It went really well and we had alot of fun! We had our Senior Date party last night, and the theme was "who will you be in 10 years"?

Delta Delta Delta
This week was our Senior Week! We read senior letters, had a senior dinner, and gave them gifts all to honor and thank them. Good luck to all of our, now, Alumni! You will be missed. This weekend we are looking forward to attending Sigma Nu and Sigma Phi Epsilon's Benefit concert, Sunset Revival!

Gamma Phi Beta:
We are so proud to have won Sorority of the Year for the second year in a row! We also won the Greek Spirit Award for Greek Week. This week was our Senior Celebration week. It has been a busy week for our chapter. We had a sisterhood event on Monday, the All Greek Baseball Game on Tuesday, and our last formal chapter on Wednesday. Tonight we have our last date party of the semester!

Kappa Alpha Theta:

This week, we had a great speaker who talked about job attire etiquette. She elaborated on what is and is not appropriate to wear in the work environment. We also worked on our by-laws and celebrated the graduation of our seniors as they continue on to the next stage of their lives. Congratulations seniors and you will succeed in every aspect of your lives!

Kappa Delta had a fun time with their siblings last weekend. We really enjoyed our sisterhood event this week where we tie-dyed t-shirts, and we are looking forward to our formal tonight!  We wish everyone good luck as they study for their finals during dead week next week!

We had our last chapter of the year and it was dedicated to the senior pledge class. We are celebrating their graduation by having a Senior Date Party and the theme is Setting Sail. Bon voyage to our Seniors!

Pi Beta Phi
Last night we hosted our "Speedo Read" philanthropy where participants competed in water relays, "big splash" contests, and synchronized swimming competitions in order to raise money for our national philanthropy, First Book. We also had our Founder's dinner and our last chapter of the semester. We are looking forward to our Senior dinner and  date party next week! If you would still like to a lifeguard tank top from our philanthropy, feel free to e-mail me! If your chapter orders over 20 tank tops your letters will be placed on the back.
