Processing Greek Affairs Bids on ICS: Make sure ALL new members are accepting bids properly on ICS in a
timely manor. Several chapters are doing a poor job of following the
bidding process, which creates administrative issues. For information

Retention
Workshop: Thursday, May 6th, 2010 in Room 212 of the Union for all
of the New Member Educators to get ready for this coming fall. We will help you
in preparing for the incoming new members next semester. Attendance is expected
of all New Member Educators.
Sigma Nu and Sigma
Phi Epsilon: Will be putting on their annual Sunset Revival
Benefit Concert on May 1, 2010. T-Shirt is $20 at the door to get in.
FarmHouse and Kappa Alpha Psi: will be
holding Ultimate
Philanthrocakes (Pancake Night) on Monday May 3rd at
10pm, at FarmHouse. It is a free will donation, and proceeds will go towards
the St
Jude Sickle Cell Cancer research center and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. After Hours Grocery Bingo: 7-11pm Union Courtyard

University Recruitment Days: Junior Day - 5/3

IFC New Member Signing Day: April
30, 2010 is the first day that chapters can offer and accept a bid from
a recruit that is currently a high school or transfer student.
Fraternity Recruitment: ICS On-line Bidding Process
Recruits
must be registered on ICS to receive & accept a bid. For Chapters and
Recruits: 1) Chapters access ICS byLogging in at: http://www.icsrecruiter.com/webservices/appMain_ifc.aspx?UID=KSSTAT a. Chapters
will login using their username and password. b. Recruits
will use the same link to accept bids. Login under the correct area
(Chapters=chapter & recruit=recruit).
2) To
offer an electronic bid to a recruit: a. Login
to ICS (Greek Affairs can access them if needed) b. Select
the "Selection" option on the left hand task bar. c. Select
the "Daily Select" option on the left had task bar. Simply check the
boxes next to the names of the recruits your chapter will bid. d. Scroll down and select "Save" at the
bottom of the page.
3) Contact
Brandon Cutler or David Dikeman ([email protected]
or [email protected]) with the name of the
recruits you will be offering bids to so we can send recruits the needed
information. a. To
keep track of bids you've offered and the status of those bids select
"Statistics" on the left hand task bar and either select "Daily
Invite Status" or "Schedule".
4) Recruits
will access the ICS page via the link listed above to accept a bid.
Recruits will need their user name and password to login and accept a
bid. Greek Affairs will provide them
with their username and password. a. Once
logged in to ICS, recruits need to select "Selection" and then
"Daily Select" on the left hand task bar. b. Recruits
will then move the move the chapter that has bid them and that they want to
join into the left side "Accept" column and click save. From this point, recruits have joined and are now new members.

Greek Week Results! All-Greek Photo
We had an awesome turn out at Old Stadium on Sunday. Congratulations to Alpha
Chi Omega, Pi Kappa Alpha, and Delta Tau Delta for having the most members
come out for the photo!
Greek Olympics
We had wonderful weather and an even better turn out for the Greek Olympics on
Monday, thanks to all of those who participated and congratulations to the
winners: 1st: Gamma Phi Beta, Delta Sigma Phi, Delta Lambda Phi, and Gamma Rho Lambda
2nd: Pi Beta Phi, Lambda Chi Alpha, and Phi Kappa Theta
3rd: Kappa Delta, Sigma Ni, Phi Gamma Delta, and Beta Sigma Psi
Greek Idol
It was amazing to see some of our Greek talent showcased on Wednesday night! It
was difficult for the judges to decide on the winner with fourteen incredible
performance, but congratulations to the top three performers: 1st: Jamie Schreiner and Hillary Wilson - Alpha Delta Pi; John Michael
Yingling, David Zurita, and Kyle Cooper - Lambda Chi Alpha.
2nd: Sam Rigsby - Sigma Kappa
3rd: Mallory David - Kappa Kappa Gamma
All-Greek Lunches
Thanks to Jimmy Johns, Pizza Hut, and Wal-Mart for providing us with wonderful
meals Tuesday through Thursday, and thanks to all of the Greeks who joined us
for lunch!

K-STATE HERO AWARD DEADLINE EXTENDED! Do you know a great, inspirational
student leader on campus? Do you know
someone who is working hard to make K-State a better place? Is there someone you know that makes a difference

nominate this person for a K-State Hero award! K-State Hero awards were introduced upon completion of the K-State PROUD
Student campaign, and serve to honor and recognize the students who work hard

UIFI Applications Now Available! UIFI is the
premier leadership development experience for undergraduate fraternity and
sorority members and brings students together from across North America for an
intensive five day institute. At UIFI students are challenged to rethink
the meaning and purpose of fraternity and sorority and provided the awareness
and skills necessary to elevate their chapter, council, and community.
This summer, we are pleased to offer nine sessions of UIFI. All sessions
will be held at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. |
