Reminders: 

*All Chapters and All Chapter Officers are EXPECTED to be at Greek LEADS 2010.

*All chapter officers must attend the Keynote Speaker.

*General members may attend the Keynote if they wish.

*All Sessions should have at least one representative from each chapter. If the specific officer that is mentioned below for the particular session is not able to attend, please find a suitable replacement.  Chapters may send more than one officer/representative to a session.

Become more aware of understanding and identifying behavior that puts your Chapter at risk, Learn the policies and be able to implement them to your own Chapter, and Discuss how to  manage risk appropriately in certain social settings

Learn how to create & publish an effective press release, Learn how to deal with the media in a time of turmoil within your Chapter, and learn how to alert the local media of positive things happening within your Chapter.

Understand what it means to be an engaged member within a Chapter, Learn effective strategies for engaging New Members within the Chapter, Learn how to prevent member apathy within the older members of the Chapter.

Alcohol Free Activities, presented by Mike Finnegan, (Instructor for the School of Leadership Studies)

Learn the importance of having alcohol free activities, Learn about some alcohol free options for events as well to how to successfully plan an alcohol free event, and also learn how to generate interest for an alcohol free event within the members of your Chapter.

Become knowledgeable about the career services opportunities available at Kansas State University, and Learn strategies to prepare the members of your Chapter for successful careers.

Become educated about the Good Neighbor Program, Be able to ask questions about the program, and Stimulate Chapter Interest in the Good Neighbor Program.

Social Justice, Where are We and Where Do We Want To Go? , presented by Brandon Cutler (Assistant Director/ Fraternity Advisor- Greek Affairs)

Participants will think critically about social justice issues and how they impact the K-State Greek Community, and Participants will discuss their personal feelings related to under-represented populations different than their own.

Become aware of certain issues that revolve around body image not only for women but also men, Learn about the program that Tri Delta has brought to the Greek Community, Be able to engage in a small portion of the Reflections Body Image program.

Be able to educate all members on fire safety initiatives, Better understand how to prepare for fire and health inspections, and Discuss how to improve facilities to meet future needs.

Learn ways to network with Alumni of your Chapter and keep them to up-to-date with things happening in your Chapter, How to use K-State bulk mailing permits to save on Chapter postage, and Learn how to design an effective newsletter for Alumni Relations.
