GreekNight Women's Basketball Game vs. Texas Tech
The GreekNight basketball game has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 24th at 7:00 pm vs. Texas Tech. The theme for the game will be 80's night and the chapter members with the best costumes will be selected to participate in the half-time festivities. Also, the chapter with the largest percentage of attendees will receive a $100 donation to the philanthropy of their choice from the athletics department. We look forward to seeing you all there! |
Chapter Announcements
Alpha Delta Pi: Last night the chapter kicked off their spring functions by having a Valentine's Day themed event with Phi Delta Theta.
.Delta Delta Delta: We are planning our 3 vs. 3 soccer tournament, which raises money for St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. Also, a member of our chapter, Jackie Capite, received Sports Illustrated Cheerleader of the Month!
Gamma Phi Beta: We had a Valentine's Day function with Pike last night. We made Valentine's cards and ate cookies.
Kappa Delta: At Kappa Delta Night at Chili's on Monday, we raised $170 for the Women's Crisis Center.
Pi Beta Phi: We had a "Leading with Values" program and an AAC/Exec meeting Wednesday night, and we have our formal tonight! | |

Want to help save the campus from boredom, one event at a time? Want to gain some leadership experience? Apply for Union Program Council's Executive Council! Contact Julianne Jensby at jcjensby@ksu.edu for an application and return it to the Union Program Council office on the Third Floor of the K-State Student Union by 4:00 pm on Wednesday, March 3rd. The K-State American Humanics program and the School of Leadership Studies will be holding a workshop for Manhattan community members called, "Volunteer Leadership in Manhattan - Working w/ Greek Groups for Community Service & Volunteer Involvement". The purpose of this workshop is for Greek Chapter members to educate and collaborate with Manhattan community members about what's working for volunteer organizations in the community and how we can all work together for the common good. This workshop will meet on Tuesday, March 2nd from 7:00-9:00 pm at Gamma Phi Beta, 1807 Todd Road. Contact Ann Virgo at avirgo@ksu.edu for more information. |
Messages from PHC Directors
President, Ashley Joerger: Chapter bills will be going out this Monday, they are due March 15th.
Vice-President, Sydney Sutherland: New Member Council will have another meeting on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 8:00 pm at Delta Delta Delta. The Greek LEADs Final Schedule should have been sent out to all Chapter Presidents on Wednesday. If you did not recieve a copy please let Sydney know, it will also be on the Agenda at the PHC Meeting on Monday. Director of Risk Management, Rebeka Scott: Make sure you turn in your post-event forms within 48 hours of the end of your function!
Director of Public Relations, Natalie Rauth: The Public Relations committee had their first meeting this week. Chapters should e-mail their webmaster's contact information ASAP. Director of Community & Internal Relations, Heather Houchen: Look out for Adopt-a-School sign-ups posted on next week's Friday Findings!
Director of Interfraternal Relations, Jacquie Lewis: Two names and an alternate for Sisterhood Exchange are due tonight by 5:00 pm via e-mail to jacqlew@ksu.edu.
