K-State Proud Back for Year Four: The K-State Proud campaign is officially
underway. Early sign up sheets have already been around to the houses, and
donations have already started rolling in. Proud is an organization
centered on the idea of "Students helping students". Through
donations from people of the K-State community, the Proud organization is able
to grant student awards to K-State students in need.
The next opportunity to participate in the Proud campaign is on Monday February
8. There is an official campaign kickoff in Union Station at 7 pm.
The kickoff event is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the
campaign, be one of the first to donate, and hear the honorary co-chair,
Michael Wesch, speak!
The official K-State Proud Week is going to be held on the week of the 22-26.
The week will consist of activities on campus throughout the days, all
culminating in the K-State men's basketball game against Missouri on Saturday
February 27th.
Donate today and make a difference in the K-State community.

Job & Volunteer Opportunities

teach in our Enhanced University Experience program. Selected students will
provide instruction in academic skills and lead study groups in social science
or mathematics with a salary of $1000 for semester. Contact Dr. Judith Lynch at

Court-Appointed Special Advocates are volunteers who give their time to
advocate for abused and neglected children in the court system. During 2009,
181 children in need of care cases were filed in Riley, Clay and Pottawatomie
counties. We were only able to assign a CASA volunteer to 63 of the children
involved with these cases. This means that we need your help now more than
ever! Click here for more
information.
