UIFI is the premier leadership development experience for undergraduate fraternity and sorority members and brings students together from across North America for an intensive five day institute.  At UIFI students are challenged to rethink the meaning and purpose of fraternity and sorority and provided the awareness and skills necessary to elevate their chapter, council, and community.  This summer, we are pleased to offer nine sessions of UIFI.  All sessions will be held at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.

FarmHouse Benefits World Hunger:

This past Monday night the men of FarmHouse Fraternity put on a Pancake Philanthropy, to benefit world hunger, and the recent devastation in Haiti. All the proceeds went to World Vision which is trying to fight the war on world hunger. Over the hour that pancakes were served, over two hundred people attended, and 428 dollars was raised all to fight world hunger. A greater thing is that the government started a new program, in which they will match the amount donated by six times. This means that the total impact the pancake feed had was 2,500 dollars!  They would like to think the Greek Community, for the many members from various houses that showed up and help with such a great cause. Be looking forward to another Phillanthrocakes Philanthropy sometime in the coming months, and you won't wanna miss it.

K-State Proud Back for Year Four:

The K-State Proud campaign is officially underway. Early sign up sheets have already been around to the houses, and donations have already started rolling in.  Proud is an organization centered on the idea of "Students helping students".  Through donations from people of the K-State community, the Proud organization is able to grant student awards to K-State students in need.

The next opportunity to participate in the Proud campaign is on Monday February 8.  There is an official campaign kickoff in Union Station at 7 pm.  The kickoff event is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the campaign, be one of the first to donate, and hear the honorary co-chair, Michael Wesch, speak!

The official K-State Proud Week is going to be held on the week of the 22-26.  The week will consist of activities on campus throughout the days, all culminating in the K-State men's basketball game against Missouri on Saturday February 27th.
Donate today and make a difference in the K-State community.

Selected students will provide instruction in academic skills and lead study groups in social science or mathematics with a salary of $1000 for semester. Court-Appointed Special Advocates are volunteers who give their time to advocate for abused and neglected children in the court system. During 2009, 181 children in need of care cases were filed in Riley, Clay and Pottawatomie counties. We were only able to assign a CASA volunteer to 63 of the children involved with these cases. This means that we need your help now more than ever! Click here for more information.
