GreekNight Women's Basketball Game vs. Texas Tech
After a meeting with the athletics department last Thursday, the GreekNight basketball game has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 24th at 7:00 pm vs. Texas Tech. The theme for the game will be 80's night and the chapter members with the best costumes will be selected to participate in the half-time festivities. Also, the chapter with the largest percentage of attendees will receive a $100 donation to the philanthropy of their choice from the athletics department. We look forward to seeing you all there!

The Academic Assistance Center is recruiting outstanding undergraduates for the 2010 fall semester to teach in our Enhanced University Experience program. Selected students will provide instruction in academic skills and lead study groups in social science or mathematics with a salary of $1000 for semester. Contact Dr. Judith Lynch at judylync@ksu.edu for more information. New Student Services will soon be hiring the Orientation Leader and Wildcat Warm-up teams for summer 2010. They will be looking for outstanding student leaders to represent K-State and assist new students and their families in the transition to college life. The K-State American Humanics program and the School of Leadership Studies will be holding a workshop for Manhattan community members called, "Volunteer Leadership in Manhattan - Working w/ Greek Groups for Community Service & Volunteer Involvement". The purpose of this workshop is for Greek Chapter members to educate and collaborate with Manhattan community members about what's working for volunteer organizations in the community and how we can all work together for the common good. Representative holds responsibility for the implementation of an
effective student recruitment program within a specific geographic
region as part of K-State's overall enrollment management plan.

candidate can be a May 2010 K-State graduate as employment will begin

Messages from PHC Directors
President, Ashley Joerger: We will be out of the office Feb. 11th and 12th for the AFLV Conference. Also, PHC delegate training will be held at 6:00 pm on Feb. 15th at Alpha Delta Pi.
Vice-President, Sydney Sutherland: The first New Member Council meeting will be held on February 8th at 8:00 pm. Also, look out for the Greek LEADS schedule, it is being finalized. Director of Risk Management, Rebeka Scott: Thanks to all chapters who have already scheduled a risk management presentation with the IFC Director of Risk Management, Steven Coen. Those who have yet to schedule their presentation can contact Steven at stevenmc@ksu.edu.
Director of Public Relations, Natalie Rauth: The first Public Relations Committee meeting will be held in Greek Affairs (Union 214) this Sunday at 7:00 pm. Also, chapter presidents please send your webmaster contact information to me at njrauth@ksu.edu. Director of Community & Internal Relations, Heather Houchen: This semester, the Women's Center is leading a huge philanthropy project, Empty Bowls. It's a national initiative to help end worldwide hunger. Essentially, students and community members can make their own ceramic bowls at the Manhattan Arts Center, purchase a bowl from The Palace, or buy a bowl in the Celebrity Bowls Auction (bowls made by people such as Kirk Schulz, student body president, etc).
