The Academic Assistance Center is recruiting outstanding undergraduates for the 2010 fall semester to teach in our Enhanced University Experience program. Selected students will provide instruction in academic skills and lead study groups in social science or mathematics with a salary of $1000 for semester. Director of Community & Internal Relations, Heather Houchen: This semester, the Women's Center is leading a huge philanthropy project -- Empty Bowls. It's a national initiative to help end worldwide hunger. Essentially, students and community members can make their own ceramic bowls at the Manhattan Arts Center, or purchase a bowl from The Palace, or buy a bowl in the Celebrity Bowls Auction (bowls made by people such as Kirk Schulz, student body president, etc).
