Panhellenic Council, Interfraternity Council, & Presidents' Retreat

The new council and chapter officers spent January 10th-12th at Rock Springs 4-H camp near Junction City. The group participated in ice breakers, set goals for the year, and discussed the Greek Strategic Plan for 2007-2012. Major goals that were set and discussed by the Interfraternity and Panhellenic councils were to increase community trust, implement and educate community members about the hard alcohol ban, increase alumni involvement, and to continue networking throughout the community.

Events Management Training

Fraternity advisor, Brandon Cutler, spoke about various aspects of risk management during the Events Management Training at Sigma Phi Epsilon on January 14th. Stations around the house modeled the correct way to host a party at a fraternity including the responsibilities of sober monitors, the bartender, and the members at check-in.

If your chapter was unable to attend this event and would like more information, feel free to stop by the Greek Affairs office and pick up a risk management packet.
