The K-State Up Til
Dawn Event will be held on Thursday October 29th in the K-State Union. Up Til
Dawn raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. For more
information on St. Jude go to: http://www.stjude.org.
K-State Up Til Dawn has raised $800,000.00 over the past 7 years, and the
executive committee has set a goal of $190,000.00 for this year. We hope
you will join us this year and help the kids of St. Jude.

K-State Homecoming During Mid-Terms
Homecoming is the week of October
18-24, which is also Mid-Terms for the University. Be sure to remind your
members to plan accordingly, and help your new members manage their time
appropriately between academics and homecoming.

to any student until 12:00 noon Friday, Sept 17. Search On-Campus Interviews

Resume Critique: Stop
by and get your resume ready for the career fair and interviews on Monday,
September 21, 2009 from 12:00 Noon-2:00 PM in Holtz Hall.

Need your resume reviewed before the All-University Career Fair? Then
don't miss this last minute chance! Drop by for a quick resume critique. Ten
free business cards while supplies last. Free snacks also available. Monday, September 21, 2009 from 8:00 PM-12:00

All-University Career Fair: Visit with over 200 employers
for career, internship, and co-op positions. Bring multiple copies of your
resume, dress professionally, and visit both days! Shuttle buses available from
campus to Bramlage Coliseum. Tuesday,
September 22, 2009 (Employers A-J) & Wednesday, September 23, 2009 (Employers
K-Z) from 11:00 AM-4:00 PM at Bramlage Coliseum.
Next Day Interviews: Many employers will set up interview schedules
at the All-University Career Fair and interview candidates the next day. Wednesday, Sept 23, 2009 and Thursday, Sept
24, 2009 from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM in the Union Ballroom.

Family Day
This
fall K-State will celebrate 81 years of Family Day tradition on September 26,
2009. This event brings together current
K-State students and their family members for a full day of activities for all
ages.
Participants
enjoy a variety of activities designed to showcase the history, tradition, and
special connection between K-State, our students and their families. Don't miss out on the many events scheduled
for the weekend including Family Time in Kat Town!
Greek Community to host
Children's Carnival
The Family Day Children's Carnival will be held in Bosco Plaza from 9:00-11:30
a.m. on Saturday September 26. We are asking all chapters to pair up with your
homecoming partners and put together a childrens game or activity for it.
Carnival activities may include a dunk tank, dart throw, washers, football
toss, musical chairs, etc. Greek Affairs will have a bounce house
available for the kids as well. Homecoming chairs be looking for an
e-mail giving all the details. Contact Lee Van Loenen at leev@ksu.edu with any questions.
Kat
Town Join K-State families for a barbeque before the K-State vs. Tennessee
Tech football game. Family Time in Cat Town is an opportunity for
families to visit with K-State special guests and meet other K-State families.
Those who attend can also purchase a chance to win the $2,000 tuition drawing.
This event is sponsored by the K-State Parents and Family Association.
Fee: $10 per person; Reservations requested.

Delta Tau Delta to Colonize with 30 New Members.
Delta Tau Delta will hosts it's colonization ceremony tonight at 7:00 pm in the Union room 212. The public is welcome and dessert will be served following the ceremony! The Colonization process has been an amazing success as Delta Tau Delta has successfully recruited 30 new members in the past 3 weeks. Congratulations Delt!
