FCLL NewsletterMarch 2012
Greetings!

Here we go...it's almost time to start playing baseball.  We can't wait to get on the field.  March 10, 2012 is field day and we can't start practice until the fields are complete, so please volunteer on March 10.  Registration is just about to close, so if you know anyone who is interested in playing, please have them sign up today. Uniforms must be ordered soon in order for them to be ready by opening day. Click here to register for the 2012 season.  This year we are excited that some of our teams will be playing "inter-league" with other leagues in our area.  This is an exciting edition to the spring season.  The teams will primarily still playing other FCLL teams, but from time to time will play other Little Leagues.  Don't forget to click on the Responsible Sports Grant banner below.  Take the courses and we could win $2500.00.  Finally, we are taking pre-orders for FCLL warm up jackets.  If you would like one, please click here.  If you have questions about registration, please email registration@fcllbaseball.org

2012 Bat Policy (Read before you buy)

Still confused about bats? Little League International has announced a new site to help you find all the answers. Click here to visit the LL approved bat site.

Youth Umpires

This season, we are implementing Youth Umpires for some of our games.  If your player is in the Majors or Juniors, he/she may umpire some games.  If a young person would like to umpire, he/she must complete the youth umpire session being held on 3/24, he/she must umpire with another adult volunteer umpire and he/she must wear the proper umpire uniform (we will supply the shirt...you buy your pants.  grey pants from Wal-mart work fine)  Stay tuned for more information.
