Vote YES November 10!
The Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors unanimously voted to endorse the passage of the Edmond Public School Bond issue on November 10, 2009. The Board agreed to this proposal noting the role that the Edmond Public Schools play in the quality of life and its large economic impact to the Edmond community.
"Education is such an important matter to Edmond. Therefore, the Edmond Chamber and its Board urges voters in Edmond to go to the polls on November 10, 2009 and vote "Yes" for the bond issue" said Ken Moore, President & CEO of the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce. "If passed, the $36.1 million bond issue should not increase our taxes, which was one of the major reasons that our Board was able to pass this resolution with no opposition." |
