This is a first time fund raising event to benefit the Edmond Historical Society & Museum. The Steering Committee anticipates some 200 attendees, with a goal of enhancing the Museum's visibility, while generating an opportunity for the community to experience "history" in an invigorating, enjoyable yet educational manner. 50 Shot Sporting Clays Tournament Presented by Adfitech
When: Friday, November 6, 2009 12:00 p.m. lunch;
1:00 p.m. shotgun start
Held at: Silverleaf Shotgun Sports 8513 S. Douglas Blvd, Guthrie
The Edmond Chamber Annual Sporting Clays Tournament is a 50 shot tournament held at Silverleaf Shotgun Sports in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Players can sign up as a team of four or as an individual and then be placed on a team.
Bronze Team of Four - $400 **Includes: Shooting fee, Ammo, Safety Glasses, Earplugs, Lunch & Goodie Bag. PLUS: Station sponsor sign, raffle tickets and featured in event promotion.

Edmond Public Schools Community Outreach October 29, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Central Middle School (500 East 9th Street)
Dr. David Goin, Superintendent & Bret Towne, Associate Superintendent District Operations will discuss November's Bond Election.
Officer Bervis Littles and other Edmond Public Schools Student Resource Officers will discuss trends that they are seeing with today's youth and answer questions.

Cindi Broaddus, also known as Dr. Phil McGraw's sister-in-law and author of "A Random Act", will be the keynote speaker discussing her life journey and the tragic assault that changed her life forever.
