Congresswoman Mary Fallin to Speak August 18 at Luncheon
The Membership Luncheon will feature Congresswoman Mary Fallin who will discuss key business issues being discussed in Washington such as "Card Check", Healthcare, Cap & Trade and Stimulus.
The luncheon will be on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Oak Tree Country Club from 11:30 -1 p.m. The August luncheon's presenting sponsor is AT&T with MidFirst Bank as the Gold host sponsor. The cost is $20 for members and $22.50 for non members. Cost at the door is $28. Please make your reservation online. |

About this event: This is an open forum of discussion which provides information to help small businesses. 'Conversation starters' are brought in by the steering committee to get the discussion started among the group and to share their knowledge on the topic. Participants may bring their own lunch and the Chamber will provide refreshments.

This event features programs and speakers specifically tailored to women in business. The breakfast begins with a fun networking game from 7:30-8a.m. which allows attendees to meet and get to know each other. The speaker will start at 8 a.m. Cost: $13 members - $15.50 non members

Oklahoma Fidelity Bank is a division of Fidelity Bank and is a 4th generation family business. In 1942 Homer C. Bastian, purchased one-half interest in the Fidelity Investment Company specializing in mortgage lending. Homer Bastian's son, Marvin joined his father at Fidelity as a mortgage counselor in 1946. Homer and Marvin Bastian purchased the company's remaining stock in 1947 and the company continued to evolve. Marvin Bastian's sons joined the company - Clark in 1976 and Clay in 1980, and now Clark's son Aaron Bastian serves as the Oklahoma area president for Oklahoma Fidelity Bank.
