Local Harvest Celebration Fundraiser Friday October 1, 2010 7-10 pm Beaver Brook Maple Hill Farm
Sip and sample locally produced foods and beverages while enjoying a
preview of our 30th Annual Nature Art and Photography Show in our historic Maple Hill Barn.
Join local farmers and food producers for a sampling and tasting of wines, cheeses, breads, herb cordials and cider featuring fresh ingredients from our local New
Hampshire Farms. Learn how to obtain and prepare fresh local ingredients to create easy,
delicious and nutritious recipes.
Local
award-winning wines will be paired with Good Loaf breads and sweets and NH made cheeses. Recipes for making your own cheeses, pestos, and cooking with seasonal produce will be provided. Noreen O'Connell, Butternut Farm, Milford NH has just completed a "buyers guide" cookbook to help you select store and use your fresh produce. She will be here with tasty samples and the cookbooks.
Valicenti Organico will present farm fresh pasta sauces and organic fresh
pasta using traditional methods their family has used for generations. Their products are made by hand in small batches using only ingredients grown organically or sourced locally.
