Along with the aircraft, the Wengers had donated the funding to keep the WACOs flying for the next 10 years! A Russell Steam Tractor is calling WAAAM home now! It was built in 1908 and produces 10 horse power. Many times a entire community would pool there money to purchase a steam tractor.

The WACOs have been up and about since their arrival in Hood
River. Volunteer Ben Davidson has flown the ATO to the Olympia Airshow and the UBF to the Richland, WA Fly-In. " These aircraft draw in a lot of attention and it is fun to share the story of the plane and the museum. With this gift from the Wengers we will be able to attend a few more Fly-Ins" say Davidson
