May Means Cluster Track Meet Time

Each May, AISD elementary schools go to battle, arriving to various venues all across the city like little armies in colorful T-shirts to compete in events like relay races, softball tossing, soccer ball kicking, tug-of-war and jumping rope. Pearcy: One of the Best

The last time we saw the Pearcy Elementary step team they were trying to give stepping pointers to the Good Morning Texas hosts on WFAA Channel 8 and letting everyone know their plans to head off to the national step competition in Atlanta and do Arlington ISD and Pearcy proud. | The Pearcy Steppers were first runner-up in the co-ed division of the National Stepping Bee.

Notable Alumna: Allison Hightower
Allison Hightower doesn't go many places without taking a bit of Seguin High School with her. Seguin was there when she moved into the starting lineup at Louisiana State University. Seguin was there when she began her Women's National Basketball Association career with the Connecticut Sun. Seguin headed overseas with Hightower when she suited up for Reze Nantes of France. | Allison Hightower, graduate of Seguin High School, now plays in the WNBA for the Connecticut Sun.
