Readers Delight

Harry Berman might have been one of 20 or so people reading to Atherton Elementary students during the annual Reading Day March 2 in celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday, but what an impression he made. Jumpin' With Dads
One crisp morning last year Dunn Elementary tossed basketballs onto the school's outdoor court, placed donuts on top of a long table, and invited dads to hang out for 30 minutes to shoot hoops with their kids and shoot the breeze with other dads. | Rodney Hall jumped rope with Dunn students during the school's Jumpin' With Dads event.

Every school year at Venture High School the juniors and seniors of its PALS group put in more than 60 hours of community service and usually come up with one big project with the hopes of making one really big difference. | Venture High School PALS students raised $1,000 for MADD through a bake sale.
