Arlington High's Gift
Arlington High School Principal Jennifer Young likened her school's recent Salvation Army campaign to a competition without a loser. The senior class might have generated 1,267 fundraising points to narrowly beat out the junior class at 1,190, but with the freshmen earning 509 and the sophomores 501, the grand total Arlington brought the Salvation Army on Dec. 9 was a win-win. | Salvation Army Capt. Happy Holidays, in Song
Holiday shoppers passing by Barnes & Noble at the Parks Mall on Dec. 13 received a pleasant surprise.
