Students and parents partiipate at Swift's Multicultural Festival

You could smell the Swift Elementary Multicultural Celebration before you actually saw it. Just steps inside the front doors, visitors were met with a large display of traditional clothing from various cultures, money from different places around the world, and a host of objects from a number of countries. Payden's Big Wish 

Payden T. enjoys his new tuba

He was told it was an emergency leadership meeting. It was supposed to be held on a Sunday afternoon in the Martin High School band hall. So Payden T. did what any dutiful tuba player of Martin's Wind Symphony would do. Board Work Session Rescheduled
The called work session scheduled for Oct. 27 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 1.
AISD Joins School Finance Litigation
The AISD Board of Trustees passed a formal resolution at the Oct. 20 meeting to join the Texas Taxpayer and Student Fairness Coalition school finance suit against the state.
