Getting Back to Class

Convincing just one student to return to school this year would have made Saturday's Operation Graduation Walk a success to AISD Superintendent Jerry McCullough. Graduating - in Arlington

No longer must Arlington high schools vacate city limits to hold their most cherished academic celebrations. With the UT Arlington College Park Center opening early next year, Arlington, Bowie, Lamar, Sam Houston and Seguin high schools will have a new building around the corner to hold their year-end commencement ceremonies. The sprawling $78 million, 7,000-seat center is on the east end of campus. |The UT Arlington College Park Center will host a number of activities.
