Shaw Intern Directors Project application deadline is June 29

There are just a few weeks until the deadline to apply to be one of the 2013 Intern Directors at the Shaw Festival.

Each season, the Shaw Festival hires two Intern Directors.  They look for promising professional directors at a point in their career where an extended residency with a company like the Shaw Festival will be of benefit to their professional development.  Applicants should have a good amount of professional experience but will not have had an opportunity to work on the scale of production that is characteristic of the Shaw Festival.

The application deadline is June 29.  Read more about applying for the 2013 Neil Munro Intern Directors Project at the Shaw Festival on the Theatre Ontario website

Michael Wheeler and Krista Jackson have been blogging about their experience as The Shaw's 2012 Intern Directors on Praxis Theatre.

The project is sponsored by Sun Life Financial and Theatre Ontario.
